Schöler opens up new market segments

With the foundation of its subsidiary ‘GXM– Guangzhou German Xiao Machinery Co. Ltd.’ in the Chinese city of Guangzhou, Schöler Spezialmaschinenbau GmbH has repositioned itself in order to open up new market segments which were previously inaccessible, particularly in the Asian region.
In Guangzhou, the team around the German managing director Manfred Fritz sells and markets machines for the production of heat exchangers, which are especially designed to meet the requirements of the Asian market.
Due to diversification in the product range it is possible, in future, to penetrate into market segments which have so far been predominantly served by local suppliers. The installations delivered from Germany to date, have been over and above the dimensions required by many local customers with regard to automation and the resulting volume of investment. GXM-Machines are less automated, simplified versions of the German installations, which have been adapted to the real needs of the customer and can be excellently integrated into the price structure of the local market. The tool sets used here are still exclusively ‘Made in Germany’, in order to guarantee that the well-known Schöler Quality Standard prevails at all times.
For Schöler, the foundation of the ‘GXM’ subsidiary means the continued expansion of our share of the world market and the positive development which this brings the company overall, combined with the long-term safeguarding of jobs at the company headquarters in Pansdorf.
